This Saturday the UU Humanist Association will hold its Annual Meeting. This is one of our organization’s most important events, as it gives the UUHA Board of Directors a chance to meet directly with its membership and it gives members a chance to vote on the proposed UUHA board slate. The Unitarian Universalist Association announced in April that their annual meeting, General Assembly, will be a 100% virtual event this year. Ordinarily, the UU Humanist Association looks forward to its presence in the Exhibition Hall to meet and to expand our membership. The UU Humanist Association will hold its Annual Meeting, including a talk by the awardee of the Religious Humanist of the Year on Friday night of General Assembly, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Commerce room of the Hilton Riverside. There will also be a UUHA booth in the Exhibit Hall, booth 501.

The American Humanist Association’s 76th Annual Conference will take place June 8-11, 2017 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport in Charleston, South Carolina. Over 500 humanists, atheists, agnostics, and freethinkers are expected to attend the annual four-day event of informative lectures, activist training, and networking opportunities.
